He should know that the copy is very bad. It is an illegality. So he should realize that his action is bad. So he never copies other people’s ideas.

Advantage
It’s important. Many people don’t realize that the copy is very bad. It’s good chance to change his action.

Disadvantage
It’s not real method, because he can copy other people’s ideas again.

Solution 2

He should concentrate on his studies, because he copies other people’s ideas. His studies are insufficient. So he try to study his major.

Advantage
It’s good method, because if he concentrates on his studies, he gets good grades and become a good student.

Disadvantage
He tries to make time and he reduces his playing time and he feels boring.

Solution 3

He can ask professor that he wants to report his report late. But he lies to professor. It’s bad. So he can ask professor.

Advantage
It is good method. He can delay to report his report. So he can finish his report without copying other ideas.

Disadvantage
If he asks several times, professor disappoints to him and professor doesn’t think that he is a sincere student.

I choose solution 3
Because it’s the fairest method and the sincerest method. He should do himself. He needs to study his major. If he wants to join a company, he can, himself.
